Tristan Westernoff AMFT
Clinician
You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy. If you’re feeling stuck in self-criticism, caught in obsessive thought loops, overwhelmed by social anxiety, or weighed down by depression or grief, you’re not alone and you don’t have to face it by yourself. I believe therapy works best when it’s a collaborative relationship. You are the expert on your life; my role is to help you make sense of patterns, emotions, and beliefs that may no longer be serving you.
I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship conflict, and emotional overwhelm. I use an integrative approach of IFS, psychodynamic, Hakomi, ACT, and Humanistic approaches. We’ll build self-understanding, reduce self-criticism, and create safer, more meaningful ways of relating to yourself and others. Most importantly, you’ll start to feel like yourself again.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if anxiety or self-doubt creep in. You don’t need to have the right words to know where to begin. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to reach out and see if this feels like a good fit.
