Achieve goals and improve performace

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process where a trained professional, known as a coach, works with an individual or a group to unlock their potential, enhance their performance, and achieve personal or professional objectives. The coach provides guidance, support, and encouragement while using various techniques and methodologies to help clients identify their strengths, address challenges, and develop strategies for reaching their desired outcomes.

Coaching differs from therapy or counseling in that it is primarily focused on the present and future, rather than addressing past issues or emotional concerns. While therapy often deals with emotional healing and resolving psychological issues, coaching emphasizes personal growth, skill development, and the attainment of specific goals.

The coaching process typically involves regular meetings or sessions between the coach and the client, during which they explore the client’s goals, values, and motivations, as well as any obstacles they may be facing. Through effective questioning, active listening, and feedback, the coach helps the client gain clarity, develop actionable plans, and maintain accountability for their progress.

Typical length of sessions

Coaching sessions usually are either 50 or 80 minutes minutes and may be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on the individual’s needs.
