Sean Crotty MPH, PsyD
Clinician
I am a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in depth psychology and Jungian psychoanalysis, supporting individuals and couples in developing deeper self-understanding, healing, and psychological growth. My clinical work integrates relational and depth-oriented approaches with psychospiritual inquiry, with experience addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also specialize in early relational trauma, narcissistic dynamics, codependency, grief and loss, addiction, and issues related to sexuality, spirituality, and sense of self, and I facilitate men’s groups focused on emotional awareness and embodied presence.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health, where my research focused on Indigenous medicine and altered states of consciousness in the treatment of anxiety and depression in Native American communities. My dissertation explores the intersection of Indigenous wisdom and modern psychotherapy. I have published in the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology on psychospiritual emergencies and the decolonization of psychedelic practice, and I collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) on research examining the colonization and commodification of Indigenous healing traditions.

"The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.”
—Alan Watts
