Zia Durnin PA

Clinician

Many of my clients seek therapy when they’re feeling anxious, disconnected, unfulfilled, or caught in repeating patterns of relationship or behavior. I help clients develop a deeper understanding of their authentic selves. My approach is psychodynamic, meaning our work will focus on exploring aspects of your self and your experience that you may not be aware of. I offer support to clients as they work to gain insight, strengthen self-trust, and discover new ways of relating to themselves, to others, and to the challenges of life.

My style is warm, direct, curious, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it’s tailored to you. My integrative approach allows me to stay flexible and responsive to what you need. Some modalities I use are cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, body-based practices, and parts work. Together, we’ll create a space to process past experiences while remaining grounded in the present and focused on your goals.

I am a current doctoral candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute, completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology with a Depth Emphasis. I am a registered psychological associate (PA 94029283) under the supervision of licensed psychologist Mahip Rathore (PSY 35728).
