Course Description
Learning Objectives
- Identify 3 common challenges and solutions supervisors regularly encounter.
- Learn 1 framework for identifying and managing supervisee’s countertranserence.
- Develop 2 tools for working with associates who are highly sensitive.
- Articulate 3 ways to proactively maintain high supervision standards.
Integrate 1 strategy for helping associates think through and articulate their developing theory and approach of how their clients create change in their life
Hours: Course meets qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s, and LEP’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Instructor: Gary Linker, Ph.D. M.F.T. is the co-founder of Pacifica Graduate Institute and has been a practicing psychotherapist for 46 years. He worked closely with Elaine Aron, one of the founders of Highly Sensitive work. He continues to practice and has a cadre of MFT interns in his private practice and at the Center for Successful Aging.
