Suzanne Samuels achieved her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Prior to this, she served as a chief consultant for renowned brands and Fortune 500 and 100 companies, focusing on digital and content strategy. After two decades, Suzanne expanded her horizons and pursued her passion for helping others by transitioning into the field of psychotherapy.

Suzanne relocated to Los Angeles after experiencing the loss of colleagues and a close friend in the World Trade Center attacks. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with individuals who have endured trauma, including war veterans, survivors of suicide, and those with codependent personalities. Additionally, she provides grief counseling.

Building a secure and supportive environment for her clients to explore their personal journeys is Suzanne’s utmost priority. Her empathetic nature and her practice of Buddhism enable clients to feel empowered as they navigate and conquer obstacles. Suzanne firmly believes that problems present opportunities for growth, and it is our perspectives and beliefs that shape our ability to effectively address them. By meeting her clients where they are in their individual paths towards self-improvement, Suzanne assists them in accepting themselves and fosters their self-growth. She works with adults, couples, and teenagers, with a particular focus on mindfulness, self-acceptance, and the development of coping skills.

Suzanne offers a range of modalities, including both online and in-person sessions.

Suzanne’s expertise extends to various areas, including codependency, grief counseling, navigating life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, spirituality, career development, and supporting abuse survivors. In her practice, she utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic modalities to best meet her clients’ needs. "To love is good too, for love is difficult. For one person to care for another, that is perhaps the most difficult thing required of us, the utmost and final test, the work for which all other work is but a preparation. With our whole being, with all the strength we have gathered, we must learn to love. This learning is ever a committed and enduring process."

-Rainer Maria Rilke
